Hey! Amelia & Ryan here, the proud owners of Paper Hearts and we love what we do.
We are an intentionally small and highly-curated collective of acoustic musicians & DJs, specialising in weddings and events in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane + beyond.
We're for the music lovers - the couples looking for a personalised soundtrack, designed with care and attention to detail, with a plethora of advice, experience and resources to assist throughout the planning process.
Many of our solo, duo and trio artists also DJ themselves, and we have an amazing team of dedicated DJs as well - seeing the joy and the love in the air when the dance-floor fires up is one of our favourite parts of the day/night!
We are a happily married couple, with 2x beautiful children and a cat - when we're not out performing at weddings ourselves as a Melbourne-based acoustic duo/dj, or helping couples with their dream wedding music, you'll find us eating Sushi, sipping coffee, playing with our kids at the park, and spending time with family and friends.

Ryan & Amelia were so easy to work with in the lead up to our wedding. Super quick responses to question and always happy to provide suggestions to our timings for the day and best way to maximise the time we had our artists playing for.
We had Tash & Mitch (The Junos) play as a duo for the ceremony through dinner then Mitch hit the decks with Jimmy the sax plater for the dance floor!
We were so grateful Tash & Mitch learned our first dance song to play on the night, it was so beautiful they did executed it perfectly!

We cannot thank Ryan and Amelia enough for the part they played in our big day.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as their acoustic tones sent us down the aisle, followed by a chilled set that complimented the canapés and cocktail start to our wedding.
All I wanted as a bride was to spend the night doing what I love best - getting down on the dance floor with my family and friends! This was definitely the case thanks to Ryan’s DJ set that sent both the bride and groom back to their younger days and nightclub dance floors. The mix of tunes meant that all age groups were able to get up and boogie the night away!!

We had the most amazing experience with Paper Hearts for our wedding. Jess and Lawson were the acoustic duo who played during our ceremony and cocktail hour, and Scott was the DJ and MC who kept the party going all night. They were all professional, friendly, and talented, and they exceeded our expectations in every way.
We loved Jess and Lawson's harmonies, guitar skills, and song choices, and we knew they would be perfect for our romantic and relaxed wedding.
