Hi! We’re Amelia & Ryan – music lovers, dance-floor enablers, married duo, and the very proud humans behind Paper Hearts.

We run a small-but-mighty collective of acoustic musicians and DJs who live for the good stuff — soulful soundtracks, perfect party vibes, and helping couples bring the magic on their big day (and night).
​
Think of us as your musical fairy godfolk: thoughtful, experienced, and totally obsessed with crafting tunes that feel like you. We specialise in weddings and events across Melbourne, Sydney + wherever love takes us.
Whether it’s a stripped back aisle moment or an all in boogie session, we’re here for it.

Our artists? Ridiculously talented. Many play live and DJ (yes, unicorns do exist), and we also have an ace team of DJs ready to bring the sparkle. Watching a room full of people you love absolutely lose it on the dance floor? Top-tier joy.

When we’re not performing as our own acoustic duo/DJ combo or helping couples find the soundtrack, we’re chasing our two small humans, cuddling our cat, sipping coffee, eating sushi, and soaking up time with our fave people.

Ryan was also our DJ and MC. He knew exactly how to read a room and keep the good times rolling. As an MC, he kept us on track and kept our friends and family on the journey with our unusual order of events, it made our afternoon dance floor so much fun.
If we had to do it all over again, we'd choose Paper Hearts - Ryan and Amelia again in a (jose gonzalez) heartbeat! From early planning, balancing specific requests with good vibes, they were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful the whole time. I highly recommend giving them creative freedom to do what they do best, as they really know and love weddings, and are experts in their field.
